The Role

The OHS Analyst is integral to the provision of OHS metrics, managing, auditing and improving the OHS Management System, as well as analysing OHS data.  In this role, you will utilise your strong technical skills and experience to work closely with the other OHS teams to drive projects that reduce OHS risk to our people, our clients and our community. 

You will undertake detailed analysis of OHS data to identify trends and provide insights and recommendations for further investigation or prioritisation at the same time as helping with the OHS internal audit program.  You will coordinate the OHS communications strategy which includes the maintenance of the OHS intranet page.  As part of the OHS Systems Team you will be an agent of change and improvement and will use your exceptional communication skills to empower our people and promote a positive safety culture.

To be successful, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV (or higher)  in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Proven experience in OHS data analysis/reporting
  • Experience in the maintenance and auditing of OHS Management Systems
  • Experience with incident management and training systems
  • To work in a team environment and positively contribute to the wider workforce
  • Logical and practical thinking with effective problem solving skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
