We provide healthcare for the entire lifespan from pre-birth to palliative care and all stages in between, and we have recently opened the new 230-bed Monash Children’s Hospital.


About us

Our Rehabilitation and Aged Care Services (RACS) provides a broad range of integrated services to support people in our community to reach and maintain health independence and wellness.  We are looking for a research assistant with clinical trials experience to work with us for up to 12 hours per fortnight through until December 2019.


About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:


  • obtaining informed consent and baseline data from study participants;
  • conducting follow-up questions with study participants;
  • developing and maintaining databases to track screening and eligibility of potential participants;
  • entering information into databases;
  • communicating with stakeholders; and
  • supporting the project team with administrative tasks.


About you

You have previous experience as a Research Assistant in a clinical trial and have a working knowlege of research ethics, including Good Clinical Practice certificate/training. 


You hold a relevant qualification in nursing or allied health, ideally supported by experience and training in clinical research.  In addition, postgraduate qualifications in research (or working towards) will be highly regarded.


This is a great opportunity to apply your research and administration skills in a part time role until December 2019.
