Monash Health Physiotherapy is a dynamic service with dedicated, highly skilled physiotherapists. The team includes approximately 200 Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants providing services across 5 Acute and Sub Acute Hospitals.  As a valuable member of a wider team, we are committed to working with you to become your professional best. About the Role  

Two positions are available, 22 hours per week each - one position is based at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton and the other position is based across Casey and Dandenong Hospitals. These roles have responsibility for provision of physiotherapy clinical services in the Acute Inpatient setting as a Leave Reliever. The caseload varies, although they will be inpatients predominantly of General Medicine, Critical Care, Surgical, Neurology or Orthopaedic nature. The successful applicant will provide positive leadership to support the multi-disciplinary team at their employed site and the broader Monash Health Physiotherapy team. 

You will be supported by a large, progressive and dynamic Physiotherapy department and these positions are fantastic opportunities for new or experienced Grade 2 Physiotherapists. 

About you 

As a new or experienced Grade 2 physiotherapist, you will have recent clinical experience in the Acute Inpatients – including General Medicine, Critical Care, Surgical, Neurology or Orthopaedic Physiotherapy. You will have advanced clinical reasoning skills and experience in clinical education and be able to flex between streams depending of needs of the department.  With your caring and engaging manner you will be required to work on a Friday with the other two days negotiable.  Some weekend work may be expected.  You will have access to resources to support you in this position, enabling you to further advance your leadership and clinical skills whilst delivering a high standard of patient care.

What you need

  • Current AHPRA registration and proven clinical experience;
