Monash Newborn is seeking two Consultant Neonatal Paediatricians to work in our brand new state of the art NICU and SCN (17.5 hours per week). 

Monash Health provides a world of healthcare across south eastern Melbourne, uniquely integrating primary, secondary and tertiary health services, as well as world-renowned research and teaching facilities in one organisation.  Monash Medical Centre is a perinatal referral centre and Monash Newborn provides an integrated service of almost 100 beds across 3 sites.  Monash Newborn is part of the new Monash Children's Hospital and is supported by a broad range of paediatric medical and surgical sub-specialists.  You will help manage a fascinating combination of medical and surgical conditions in babies of all gestations.  You will be joining our team of 10 Neonatal Paediatricians caring for babies in our brand new nursery with a combined neonatal intensive care and special care capacity of 64 cots.

You will hold an appropriate specialist qualification (FRACP or equivalent), AHPRA registration and show a commitment to continuing education, quality improvement, teaching and research.  Diverse research opportunities are available in collaboration with Monash University's Ritchie Centre.
